Hey, Drew here. Today I will repeat another Youtuber course. This time it is from Rafael Cintron and his 7 figure Ecom secrets. The course costs $ 997 (another $ 997 course!), Which is more expensive. I've seen many courses that cost so much and still can not find anyone who's worth the money. Let's see if that's the case.
Who is Rafael Cintron?
Rafael is a self-proclaimed seven-figure earner in e-commerce. He has a Youtube channel that has about 13,000 subscribers at the time of writing. He appears to regularly post at least once a week, ranging from top 10 products to direct mail products (be careful because everyone will make them and they're probably already saturated) and many other case studies of products / stores 6 and 7 numbers.
His channel has one goal in mind and that is to bring you through his free practice, where you will then be offered to attend his paid course. It's good that he offers good value for money in advance, but the free practice tactics are pretty straightforward and available online. He will not reveal all his "secrets".
A strange discovery …
I've seen others pointing out the same thing by selling other courses without reference to Udemy.com. Check this out:
If you check his BIO image, it looks the same type. So is he a master of e-commerce, fear management, confidence building and willpower?
Here's what's on his BIO page. You can look it up yourself.
Is it possible for him to study which courses people buy at high rates and develop them for the market at a profit? Now that I've seen that, I'm questioning the authenticity of his ecommerce course. Does he earn money in e-commerce in this way by selling courses in e-commerce?
What is the paid course?
One thing that confuses me on his course is branding. It is not clear what the real name is. I saw "eCommerce Secrets Inner Circle" together with the other name "eCommerce Profits Inner Circle" and then there are the "7 Figure Secrets".
His branding does not seem to be very strong. This is the first red flag because you better have a strong and recognizable brand in e-commerce. His course name is everywhere and not clear. Maybe that's his strategy, I'm not sure.
In the course itself there are two opening modules and then 10 sections for the rest of the training.
Module 1 – Introduction to Ecommerce Profits Inner Circle
All you get here is a video that's less than 2 minutes – and that's the end of Module 1 lol. It's an introductory video that explains just what to expect in the class. Typically, but not worthy of an actual module.
Module 2 – Start of your shop
Here are 4 short videos that show you how to set up your shop, set up emails, set payment methods, and increase conversion rates. The longest is the first video with 45 minutes. Many other courses divide it into parts, but Rafael has decided to put it all together in one video.
Section 1 – Winning products
In this section (or module, however you want to call it) you get to know product research. In total there are 8 videos on the following topics:
Section 2 – Facebook Ads
Facebook ads are the most important aspect of your workout and in this section you will only find 9 videos. Setting up an ad account, analyzing the competition, converting your ads, targeting your ads, video ads, and finding similar audiences will all be covered. Much of this basic education can be found on Youtube.
Section 3 – Advanced Facebook Ads
Here are 3 videos that showcase dynamic targeting, scaling identical audiences, and scaling ads that have proven to be successful.
Both modules together are very simple and do not offer advanced features. Rafael tends to "gloss over" most strategies and does not go into detail. Compare this with the Intensive Facebook training on Ecom Eliteswhere you get over 50 videos on Facebook alone.
Section 4 – Google Ads Domination
In this section, you'll find 7 videos with information about Google Tag Conversions, Product Specific Campaigns, Retargeting, and Negative Keywords.
I do not understand how you will dominate Google with 7 videos, which also seem to be quite random. There are full dropshipping courses with Google. Read my article on the Best Google Ads Courses to see more.
Section 5 – Instagram Marketing
Another listless module – instagram training is not groundbreaking. It includes some basic strategies, such as testing products with Instagram, tracking influencer shout-outs, and writing scripts.
It is a very simple module and fades in comparison to training in a course like eCom elites. No surprises here.
Section 6 – Content Marketing & SEO
There is only one video here with a duration of 20 minutes. The video is actually a live call with a guy in the UK who owns an SEO agency. He talks about some aspects of SEO and what to look for, etc.
There's really nothing to learn here, but maybe you'll get some tips. You're better off just googling SEO for eCom and see what's coming your way. Again a very listless module with only one video.
Section 7 – Shopify Apps for more than $ 5,000
I have to deal with the nature of the title of this module. You're not sure how he got that number, but it's true that apps can help you make extra money.
Featured apps include Loox reviews that help with the conversion. Also discussed are Recart, Abandoned Cart emails, SMS bump and Mail Munch.
What Rafael does not tell you, and I'm surprised he does not, is that by getting a premium theme you can get rid of the apps you pay for on a monthly basis. A good premium theme includes all these apps and more. What's better is that, because it's built into the code, it will not slow down your website as add-on apps become.
Look at mine Check the best premium Shopify themes for more information on how you can benefit when you purchase apps.
Section 8 – How to Set a Virtual Assistant
I've found that many dropshipping courses usually give you some ideas on how to hire a virtual assistant, and Rafael's course is no different. He cites only Upwork and Fiverr. There are others out there like people per hour etc.
In any case, you do not have to worry until your business becomes overwhelming. You can skip this 6-minute video if you want, as this is all that is included in this "module".
Section 9 – High Ticket Dropshipping Webinars
You may have heard the term high ticket dropshipping before that and that's what this module is all about.
Rafael explains how high ticket sales through 2 webinars can help you achieve higher single sales margins.
Some people are attracted by the idea of selling expensive items and earning high commissions, but the truth is that it's much harder to "sell" these people. Selling cheap items can be very easy as it is impulse buying. High ticket items are usually well researched and if you have no recognizable brand, no one will buy from you.
If you want to know more, read my article high ticket dropshipping I'm sure I'll explain more.
Section 10 – Email Marketing
In this section, you'll learn how important email marketing is. And by customers who have left their shopping cart.
You'll find that you're getting better training in an app that lets you send outbound emails or in an app Premium theme like eCom Turbo This has more training on abandoned carts. It's another short section and if you're new, this could be confusing.
You get five bonuses for this course when you buy it.
The first bonus is a live one-on-one interview with Rafael. You can also join a biweekly group mentoring call to ask questions. Whether this continues, remains to be seen. It is unclear how many members he currently has.
There is a messenger access with Rafael, but let's face it, it could be a VA taking these chats. When he's so busy with all these projects, I do not see how he has the time.
The other "bonuses" are tips for Facebook, Google and Instagram ads. This was not part of regular training as it should have been. Listing a bonus in previously taught integral areas just makes things seem confusing and messy.
I would not call that a bonus, but it's offered as a bonus and that's access to a private Facebook group. Any legal course should have one by default and not be advertised as a bonus.
Last thoughts on the course
I found this course a bit disappointing. For 997 dollars I would have expected much more. The training is easy and not very detailed. It just does not have the content that I expected. It's not a bad course, because you'll definitely learn something, but not at $ 997. It is not justified at all.
If you really want to learn ecom and start your own dropshipping business, you do not have to invest a grand in a course.
If I told you that you could learn any strategy to compete with the big boys and girls for less than $ 300, would that seduce you?
In fact, you can get started right away if you only want $ 197. I have already mentioned it in this review To make the transition easier, you have toeCom Elites is probably the best dropshipping course currently,
I have it myself and go for a full walk and check. Take a look at my eCom elite test to see what you get. It has over 175 content videos and literally throws that $ 997 course out of the water.
I'm glad you made it here so I could save you a lot of money and also get a lot more knowledge. Remember, learning this stuff does not have to be expensive. And it's important to find the right teacher to take care of his students. OK, one more time Look at my review and see what it's about.
